License Terms
When you purchase a template from Element Shogun, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the purchased template under the terms below.
You May:
- Use purchased templates for personal and commercial websites.
- Build unlimited websites for yourself or your clients.
- Modify, customize, and combine templates with your own work.
You May Not:
- Resell or redistribute our template ZIP files.
- Share, upload, or give away templates, whether free or paid.
- Include our templates in template libraries, starter kits, or competing products.
- Transfer or sublicense your license to another person or business.
WordPress Plugin Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Element Shogun Templates Library plugin or accessing elementshogun.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services or plugin.
1. License & Usage Rights
- Plugin Code (GPL License): The PHP code, HTML, and core architecture of the Element Shogun WordPress plugin are licensed under the GNU General Public License v2.0 (or later), perfectly aligning with WordPress.org repository standards.
- Template Layouts & Assets: The visual designs, section layouts, Elementor JSON payloads, and images provided through our cloud catalog are proprietary assets of Element Shogun (unless explicitly marked as public domain).
- Permitted Use: You are granted a non-exclusive license to import and use our templates on unlimited personal, commercial, or client websites.
- Prohibited Use: You may not scrape, extract, repackage, resell, or redistribute our raw JSON files, template catalogs, or visual designs as a standalone template library, competing cloud service, or downloadable UI kit without written permission.
2. Cloud API & Service Availability
The template library plugin connects to our remote cloud servers to display layouts.
- “As-Is” Provision: Our cloud template feed is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we strive for 99.9% uptime, we do not guarantee that the remote catalog will be uninterrupted or error-free at all times.
- API Protection: We reserve the right to rate-limit or block IP addresses that engage in automated scraping, excessive requests, or denial-of-service attacks against our API endpoints.
3. Intellectual Property
All branding, logos, graphics, and original design components associated with Element Shogun remain the exclusive property of Element Shogun. The WordPress and Elementor trademarks belong to their respective owners, and our plugin is an independent add-on, not officially affiliated with or endorsed by Elementor Ltd. or WordPress Foundation.
4. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Element Shogun or its developers be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use our templates, website, or plugin. You assume full responsibility for backing up your website before importing new layouts or modifying page structures.
5. Modifications to the Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the website or plugin after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
